Maidenhead RFC Teams

The Club runs 6 senior sides, our two Senior teams, the ever successful 3rd team under captain StJohn Ford, and the 4th team under the leadership of captain Peter Hickey. Mark Bates has taken on the challenge to captain our Vets team as well as lead the coaching effort for the social sides.

The Senior squad run two teams. The 1st XV play in South West 1 East and travel over the South and South West to fulfil their League fixtures.

The 2nd team now play in Berks, Bucks & Oxon 1 with the 3rd and 4th XVs playing in the local Berks Bucks & Oxon leagues.

The Veterans have a series of 'friendly' matches.

The Club has a strong Colts side that play in the Oxfordshire, Berks and Bucks league. Maidenhead Colts also play in the National Knockout Cup.

The Colts' Academy Structure, which is intended to optimise the level of coaching available for players at the top end of the Youth section and to provide a commonality of approach across the U17s and Colts to make the transition through from Junior Section to Colts and beyond as smooth as possible. While both the Colts and the Under 17s will retain their own identities and compete in their own League and Cup competitions, the development of all players will be overseen by the Academy management team of Head Coach Tony Brooks and Gareth Andrews-Jones.

After a successful first season of friendlies the Ladies team, led by Louise Ferriman, get their first taste of league rugby this season.

The Youth section is one of the most successful in the country, continues to go from strength to strength, and runs age group squads from U7 though to U17.
