Will Windsor spoil the party? (02.01.04)

MAIDENHEAD RFC coach Simon Edwards is hoping for a more fluent and open match against rivals Windsor tomorrow (Saturday) following a spoiling-dominated affair at Braywick earlier in the season.
The previous encounter saw Maids come through 32-5 but it was not a classic.
Edwards said: “I was disappointed with the way they played at Braywick. But I hope they will look to play rugby at their place.
“They have a good back line which I have a lot of time for. We’ll just have to see.”
But whatever style of contest is forthcoming, Edwards is conscious of guarding against complacency in Division 2 East.
Maids have lost just one league encounter so far – to leaders Swanage – but the coach is aware that they must focus on every game.
He said: “We must take one game at a time. It’s no good looking forward to problem matches and forgetting the one under your nose.
“But we are certainly ready. Simon Cripps and Piers Morgan are not available, but we are able to bring in Pete Nisbet and Robin Bryant.
“It’s the joy of having a good squad.”
One opponent they will not be coming across tomorrow is former Maids favourite Andy Barron, who had joined Windsor as a coach.
The Australian has recently parted company with the Home Park side.
Kick-off is 2.15pm.
