Rugby is all about TEAMWORK - RESPECT - ENJOYMENT - DISCIPLINE - SPORTSMANSHIP

 

Should you decide to entrust your child's rugby development with Maidenhead Rugby Club, then we will ensure that the environment we create will be safe, fun (if the players don't enjoy themselves they won't want to come back!) and player centred. As coaches we have a responsibility to try and ensure your son or daughter gets the coaching they need to challenge and improve them, regardless of their ability.

We attend many local tournaments and festivals, support other Berkshire clubs with training fixtures and whilst we always try our best to win every match, during the formative years of a player's development, the emphasis is placed far more on player and team development than wins or losses.

 

We encourage parents to take an active part in rugby. Our current group of coaches are all parents who got involved when their sons joined the club. Whether through helping out with coaching, organising fund raising activities for the age-group, club events or simply cheering your son or daughter on at training or matches we welcome your involvement.
