A younger, fitter Wycombe side were outplayed by an older, wiser and heavier Maidenhead pack on Saturday. The forwards dominated all areas of the game and drove over for three first half tries by Prince, Bourne and Bates. The backs played well too against a well ordered defence but Maids winger Goodman outpaced his opposite number to get his first of the season. Wedderpohl was unlucky not to get one too as his momentum carried him over the dead-ball line in another searing attack.. Two more tries by Wells and Broom and 4 conversions from Weddon brought the tally to 38 without reply.
