Your newsletter
Although the general consensus
is that the editor's contribution to this newsletter
is really quite outstanding (we did a phone vote using
the same company as Blue Peter), the editorial team
would love to be able to include more club members'
contributions
We will also be getting updates
from our many foreign correspondents around the
world - so watch this space, and we also look forward
to those marvelously unbiased match reports from each
squad's press guru
Also, let us know what you have
been doing over the summer and where you were when England
beat Wales 62 - 5 (oops, how did that slip in)
We will also be having quizes throughout
the season on the laws of the game and general knowledge
questions such as 'Whatever happened to the club
allocation of missing England vs Wales tickets?'
(oops, another one slipped in there)
Maidenhead Colts
With the very strong U17 squad
from last year moving up into the Colts, everyone should
keep an eye out for their results and get down to the
club on Sundays to enjoy some top quality rugby
Youth Rugby
The youth section will once again
be firing on all cylinders and we look forward to the
young players of the club continuing their fine form
- don't forget that if you know any youngsters who fancy
coming down on a Sunday they will be most welcome

James Haskell
Unfortunately James has missed
out on a place in the final squad for the World Cup.
However, there is no question that he will play on that
stage one day (even maybe this year if there are injuries)
and I am sure that all Maids wish him the best and hope
that he keeps that chin up. He is an inspiration
to all the young players at Maidenhead and we look forward
to enjoying him playing in many more internationals
in the future
PS. Look on the bright side
James, at least you won't have to wear that awful new
kit!!
