Even more good news

The Club is delighted to welcome Steve and Sarah Page as its new General Management team, starting their work this month

For those who don't yet know them, both Steve and Sarah have a long association with Maids: Steve started playing here in 1972 and since his playing days has been coaching son William who started as an Under 6 and has now reached the Colts side, while Sarah's brother Buzz is another familiar face to Maids supporters

Steve retired recently from his career in the Police, where his final duties were as a member of the Armed Protection Unit. Sarah, meanwhile, has a track record in catering management and many locals may have encountered her when she was running Boulters in Maidenhead. Despite a very strong and varied response to the advertisement for the role of GM, the combination of skills and experience that Steve and Sarah offer, together with their passion for the Club enabled the committee to make a unanimous selection.

The new General Management role will encompass a large part of the Club Steward's role, so after several years' service we will be saying goodbye to Lyn Armstrong in mid-October. The committee would like to thank Lyn for all her hard work and wish her well for the future.

In the meantime Steve and Sarah are looking forward to making some changes at the Club and to welcoming members old and new to the Club
