U15s development morning at Ealing

Sunday 28th September 2008

While their colleagues were basking in the sunshine at a county training session, the balance of the age group travelled to Ealing to play a series of development sessions against various combinations from this traditionally strong club.

We played 4 sessions in total and the coaches were very pleased with the efforts of all concerned, especially considering that for some this was the first competitive rugby of the season. We took the opportunity to look at various players in a number of positions and got some good learning ahead of the daunting selection task of working out who should play where and in which of our 2 squads at the tournament in a fortnight. This was a great team effort from all present against strong opposition and if all players consistently put in the same level of effort and commitment it will be a good season.

Many thanks to Ealing for forgoing a conventional match
