U13s overwhelm Aldermaston

Maidenhead U13s, whilst welcoming back Christian Horn and Jack Hill from long term injuries, recorded a record score in beating Aldermaston 93-7 on Sunday in their final league game of the season.

Maids actually found themselves 7-5 down in the early stages but were shocked into action and in the end were far too powerful for the opposition. Seven tries were scored in a slightly under par first half.

The second half showed a much improved all round performance with some outstanding team tries. 15 tries were scored in all with Colin Kerins scoring a consecutive double hat-trick, wingers Emi Repetto and man of the match Adam Piper with three each, Jack Hill, Jon Pomroy and George Dutton.

Jonny Garius chipped in with nine conversions.
