U12s prepare with the U11s

This week was all about preparation for the Saracen's Tournament next weekend - so it was time to play 12s against 11s and hope lessons would be learned on both sides.

Try players in new positions and try new combinations to see if the squads were able to adjust... and for the 11s it was a chance to see what kind of skills might be on show in the Tournament and to challenge themselves with hard tackling and faster backs...everyone played well and the 11s scrummage was particularly noteworthy.

The 12s obviously won by 4 tries to 1 but the 12s lost by more the year before with their battle against the older age group! 12s are feeling strong for next weekend - let's hope all hangs together. There will be tough opposition at Saracen for Maids 12s and teams like Sandal (is that how you spell it?) are going to be tough opposition. We can't wait!
