| THE UNDER eights put out two
squads at the tournament on Sunday, with mixed fortunes. The B squad played excellently, and won the Allied Dunbar B team cup by coming out on top in all of their matches. They played Winchester, Cleve, Hazlemere and Windsor, scoring 22 tries in the process while conceding only seven. Try scorers were Charlie Johnson (5), Callum Thomas (5), Ben Alderson (3), Haydn Mann (3), Sam Blackman (2), Patrick Boyd (2), Chris Heley and Jonathon Wright. The A team found themselves under a lot of pressure in the highly contested Allied Dunbar A team cup, which was won by Haslemere, displaying exceptional handing skills, quick passing and disciplined defending. Maids lost by one try against both Haslemere and Winchester, they beat Cleve by one try and drew against Windsor. Try scorers were Jordan Foster (4), Flex O'Sullivan (2), Oscar Thomson (2), Richie O'Reilly (2), Gordon Harris and Phil Roberts.
