U7s play Reading and Winchester

Last Sunday saw Maidenhead U7s and Reading U7s visiting Winchester for a triangular. The kids all had great fun in the sun and the mud!

Maidenhead As won their first game against Winchester Bs 6 tries to 4 with a brace of tries for Scott Prince with William Lawrence, Ben Lawrence, Oliver MacGregor and Joel Greene also scoring.

In a tough match, the As then went down to Winchester As 5 tries to 3 with tries coming from from William Lawrence, Abigail Dow and Ben Lawrence.

Maidenhead As then went on for a comfortable win against Reading As 6 tries to 2 with a hat trick from Abigail Dow, a brace from Ben Lawrence with Joel Greene once again also making the score sheet.

Liam Cook also earns a mention for providing great support work.

The Maidenhead B team got off to a slow start, not waking up until the second half of their first match against Reading As but despite some great spirited rugby it was not quite enough to make up for the first half so the final score was 6 tries to 4 with our scorers being Sasha Gill, Tom Kynaston, Christopher Cousins and Taran Uppal.

The Bs teams second game was against Winchester Bs and was a close fought match with honours even at the whistle with a 3 tries all draw. The try scorers were Sasha Gill, Christopher Cousins and Taran Uppal.
