U13s gain experience against Henley

Maidenhead U13s 0 v Henley U13s 25
Sunday 30th October 2005

Visitors Henley showed far greater commitment and determination against Maids, duly running out 25.0 winners. The boys lacked cohesion and failed to get their tackles in when it mattered. A very early try settled the tone of the match, with Henley's well-organised pack and co-ordinated Backs outplaying their opponents.

Having said that, Maids held Henley at bay for periods and might have done better had they held possession and put some passes together. Henley are a very good side and this was definitely a game to go in the category marked: learning experience.
