U12s' sponsored kicking competition

Next event on the fund raising calendar after the bag packing was a more obviously rugby related activity! As the sun shone (though let's not forget a very cold wind was blowing!) the BBQs were fired up - thanks to Michael O'Flaherty, Peter Brooks and Roger Keir for their efforts here! - and around 30 of the Maids squad, plus some visitors from Amersham and Chiltern took part, taking 5 kicks initially from varying distances and angles. There were also some cameo appearances from a Mum and a couple of Dads!!

At the end of the competition two players had kicked 5 out of 5 - Ross Brown and LD Basson, but the final show-down had to be delayed as one had to leave! To be continued.......
