Irish put Maids U11s into a paddy
Maidenhead U11s 0 v London Irish U11s 30
Sunday 12th December 1999
| Maidenhead RFC under 11s A team
entertained a determined London Irish team at Braywick on
Sunday, and succumbed to a 30-0 defeat. Despite the freezing cold wind and driving rain, the boys from London managed to look as fresh as daisies and were in a different league to the Maidenhead outfit. From the start the ball was quickly won by London Irish and the first of several missed tackles gave a lad the size of Will Carling the space he needed to power through and open the scoring. Despite determined attempts to tackle and break the flow of their game, the Maidenhead lads were unable to stop the flow and conceded several more tries. |
