The Maids responded to the challenge extremely well and worked hard to stop them from scoring throughout the first half but although Bridgend had the edge they had to work hard to score twice to win the game. It was a well fought tournament with tough opposition from which Maidenhead did well to finish third and were rewarded with the fair play award which Captain for the day Guy Sears collected on behalf of the squad. The rain may have fallen but it did not dampen Maids spirit against tough competition from the Wales and West Country.
