U10s at the Madejski Stadium

Maidenhead’s Under rugby 10 squad were treated to a day of specialised training and a half time pitch photo session at last Sunday’s premiership game when London Irish played Sale Sharks.

The squad spent a full morning with the London Irish coaches and were taught techniques in tackling, rucking and mauling. Following the intensive training session the whole squad and parents watched the game in which London Irish narrowly lost to Sale Sharks.

The highlight of the afternoon for the boys was when they were invited on to the pitch at half time where they were photographed with club mascot "Digger" and players and coaches. The squad was also presented with a signed match ball which will be raffled by the club to raise funds.
