Maidenhead RFC's Hall of Fame

Maidenhead is where James Haskell played and enjoyed his club rugby from the age of 5 until he left the Colts to join Wasps.

Now with Thom Evans playing for Scotland, Maidenhead can now boast two recent youth players who have gone onto full international honours.

However it is not just James & Thom as a number of their contemporaries have gained representative honours whilst at Maidenhead and since, notably Tom Guest and Nils Mordt who both play for premiership teams.

Whilst each player's success is undoubtedly due to their talent and hard work, we like to think that the coaching and organisation of Maidenhead's flourishing youth section has helped along the way.

In the 1980s Robert Huntsman played prop for England and going further back, when the club was known as Thames Valley, Tony Novis went on to captain England and Great Britain.

Sir Stirling Moss was also a first team player just prior to taking up motor racing full-time.
